I also discovered that the English word translated as “created” is from “bara (bet resh alef) m/verb. I believe the Israelite’s understanding would have been that bara was functioned just like when they saw the moon they saw it in terms for months …… and not as an object without function.
So as he remembers us he recalls what he uniquely functioned us for to outwork his covenant, bringing honor and glory to himself YeHoVaH our Elohim.
