Day 205 comment:

8:12 – The many teachings I wrote for him [Efraim] Have been treated as something alien (The Israel Bible).

This struck me today as statements like this have struck me many times over the last 4 or 5 years. The very scriptures that Yeshua/Jesus preached from and called people back to, the very scriptures that Paul applauded the Berians for checking for themselves, have been relegated to an “alien” status by those who claim to be disciples of Yeshua/Jesus.

While I have not been participating in this conversation as much as I would have liked to when we began, I am thankful to be a part of this group of people who have dedicated a full year to focus on the Book that Yeshua/Jesus read. Yehovah gave us His Instruction, His law, and His statutes. They should be familiar and comfortable to those who claim to belong to Him. We are making them familiar and comfortable in our lives by participating in this Club.

Will you join me in praying that the many teachings of our heavenly Father will no longer be something alien in our lives, but something known and treasured?
