~ This video was such a blessing–for both me and my husband. In doing our own research, we found that Chaunkkah has NOTHING to do with xmas. The Maccabean revolt was about a small clan of Jews who fought back, not accepting the pagan ways of the Hellenists, NOT KEEPING XMAS), not eating pork (which was “revenge for killing the pig that killed Tammuz”). We always believe in doing one’s on research and not just swallowing what we were taught as kids. Many thanks to Keith Johnson, Rich and Margaret Pogin for this informative video. We really must think for ourselves! ~

I loved all three of these videos. I was needing a boost in this time of pagan xmas all around me, and not a great way to celebrate Hanukah (pretty much alone). This has encouraged me to make Hanukah more meaningful this year, but also inspired me to prepare for the time of the next “Antiochus” who is coming onto the scene.
