From the beginning of time, the Torah (literally, God’s “instruction”) has provided a window for man to look into the heart and mind of his Creator. Historically, the word Torah has been used to refer to the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy). But Torah isn’t limited to just five books; it encompasses the entirety of God’s divine instruction throughout the “Old Testament.” Unfortunately, when most people hear the word Torah they immediately think “law,” which evokes a negative response. But God’s instruction leads to life! Let us help you learn what God’s Torah really is and what it actually says. We want you to experience the Torah as God’s eternal instruction and revelation for humanity. When you encounter His word, His will, and His way from a truly Torah-oriented perspective, it will enrich and change your life forever!
Because so many people have been praying for the peace of Jerusalem I thought it might be helpful to see one of the concrete answers to prayer. I have been given permission from the company that made the Iron Dome Missile Defense System to share this video with you. Pray for efficiency in knocking down the barrage of missiles that are being launched from Gaza toward Israel.
If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready. He has also prepared for Himself deadly weapons; He makes His arrows fiery shafts. Behold, he travails with wickedness, And he conceives mischief and brings forth falsehood. He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made. Confessions of a Converted Methodist Preacher (Bilingual video)
February 17th, 2013
My radical change started with a dream around the time of Passover in 2002. I have decided to honor the anniversary of this very important time in my life by releasing a two-hour special, which aired on God’s Learning Channel as the inaugural episode of La Luz del Suroeste, the Spanish version of Light of the Southwest. In this bilingual episode I testify to what caused my “conversion” and Dr. Dennis Otero provides a running Spanish translation. Due to circumstances beyond my control, this episode has been banished to the GLC archives after only being aired once. However, I am pleased to announce that I have found a copy of what I call The Lost Episode: Confessions of a Converted Methodist Preacher.
If after viewing the “Lost Episode” you would like to learn more about the radical change in my life that came as a result of three special encounters in Israel, you can read and download the entire first chapter of my book A Prayer to Our Father.
