Gerald Schroeder does a phenomenal job of connecting science with the biblical account of creation. What do you think about his 5 minute scientific explanation of the first few verses we read in Genesis chapter one.
About Gerald Schroeder
Gerald Schroeder is a scientist with over thirty years of experience in research and teaching. He earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees all at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with his doctorate thesis being under the supervision of physics professor Robley D. Evans. This was followed by five years on the staff of the MIT physics department prior to moving to Israel, where he joined the Weizmann Institute of Science and then the Volcani Research Institute, while also having a laboratory at The Hebrew University. His Doctorate is in two fields: Earth sciences and physics.
His books appear in 10 languages.
Gerald Schroeder lives in Jerusalem with his wife (the author, Barbara Sofer). They’ve had five children with a changing number of grandchildren. He moved to Israel from the USA in 1971. In addition to his current work in radiation control, he teaches at Aish HaTorah College of Jewish Studies, writes and lectures on the extraordinary confluence of modern science and ancient biblical commentary.

I watched the video and found it highly interesting, though challenging as English is not my first language.
This evening I was in a Bible study group as I signed up for the Messianic module of the ISOM. I was totally surprised to find that a half an hour teaching of Gerald Schroeder is part of the module (and we watched it tonight). I was certainly blown away (and happy it was all translated to German) as he explained how the Talmud already 400 CE and Rashi and later Maimonides and Nahmanides made the connection between the 6 days and the 14-15’000’000’000 years of sience today.
I am still in awe and that to me makes just completely sense – although my brain was really challenged by so much sienctific language… *whew.
If you can get hold of an extended teaching by Gerald then I highly recommend you watch it.

This is great for people who are struggling with atheism, there is so much science out there that supports the God of the bible. Schroeder put it in inoffensive terms for people who are submersed in a worldview that there have to be billions of years to make the universe we see today. The more I open my mind and seek truth in conjunction with science, the more I see that YeHoVaH has created a beautiful universe in just the way the Scripture says He did. -Zach

Debbie and I just got back from a visit to New York. While there we went to the Hayden Planetarium and they have an interactive display showing this imagery in Dr Shroeder’s slide. As we walked along the billions of years and saw images of views from Hubble Telescope, it made me think along the same lines as Dr Shroeder. The “force” behind the creation is clearly science’s proof of God. There was a great deal of focus in the presentation on the initial light of the creation act. Beautifully described in the Bible simply by “light exist.”

A dear friend described the beginning of the universe as the ‘Big Blossom.’ I always appreciated her perspective. I would say some in this group would also see YHWH’s creation in this light.

I first Heard of Dr. Schroeder about 20 years ago, and read his book “The science of God”. It was VERY thought provoking and offered insight into how science really does confirm a creator.
I once had a Professor of Physics admit that he was an atheist… BEFORE he became a Physicist.

My late husband,a math and physics graduate, came to faith due to reading Dr. Shroeder’s books. I must admit they are way over my head but they opened H’Shem to my hubby for which I am eternally grateful. Thank you for sharing this video.

Sorry but I am a Straw man. Just because this man says there is a Creator the time line showed here does not line up with TORAH. There are a lot of things Physically and Physiologically we will not understand until the mountain of YHWH comes down and we can go there and know all things.
