The Ten Commandments Movie (Trailer)
I realize that this 1956 movie is not a completely accurate biblical account, however I still consider this my favorite movie of all time! Long before I ever had any encounter with the Book, I was intrigued; even mesmerized with this story based on the book of Exodus. What do you think of Hollywood bringing the contents of the Bible to the big screen?

10 Commandments and The Bible (with George Scott) are and will always be my favorites. I have seen other versions of biblical movies, with some that are a waste of film (NOAH, Gods & Kings & The Bible miniseries) .

Hi everyone
I did enjoy the old movies when I was young the10 commandments was an Epic . The water parting to a young child was awesome and inspired you .
It is part of our generation to see TV and Hollywood but I saw Noah the movie and it was very misleading . I have a few movies but I’m always aware that they are just images and out of men’s imaginations . And as the bible is of no private interpretation I never take them as gospel truth because they conflict with scripture my pet peeve is interpretations of Yeshuah as a hippy very feminine man this is the opposite of what he himself said even nature itself tells you that it is a shame for a man to have long locks although a woman’s hair is given as a covering ( paraphrasing ) but if Yehovah wants your personal attention he will get it and maybe even use a movie .

One of the scenes I find compelling is all the Children of Israel walking out of Eqypt. The movie tries to portray the scale of the thousands maybe millions of men, women and children heading to the promised land. A striking visual.

I love these older biblical movies even though they are not always scripturally accurate. They did try their best. Whenever reading about the exodus the picture of Charleston Heston always comes into my head!
The new movies I have not seen and only read some very sad reviews. They aren’t close to scripture and I fact pervert it. Not worth one thin dime to see.
