Authority
I’ve been considering the matter of authority this past couple of weeks. I see how Adam and Eve put themselves under the authority of Satan, at least partially, by doing what he said instead of what Yehovah said. I guess the “discovery” I made this past week is that authority is positive at least when it lines up with Yehovah and His ways. So often we bristle and don’t want to be under someone’s authority, but we will always be under someone’s authority ultimately that will be Yehovah or Satan and being under the authority of Yehovah is positive because He will provide for us and protect us.

If someone is not experiencing YHWH Authority, the Creators commanding and controlling influence in their life than how can they hit the mark?
We read In Genesis 2:16-17: And Hashem commanded the man, saying “Of every tree of the garden you are free to eat; but as for the tree of knowledge of good and bad you must not eat of it; for as soon as you eat of it you shall die.
When YHWH gave this command, Adam and Chava were innocent they had no concept of sin or what disobeying was. Humans were not under any Authority because in the world there was not a need for a commanding and controlling influence because the action of Sin had not been initiated.
Once Chava accepted the idea the tree was a desirable source of wisdom and took of its fruit and ate, and Adam took and ate, at that moment humans came under the Authority of YHWH.
Prior to this moment YHWH Authority existed but no commanding and controlling influence was needed. There was only one side of the story, YHWH side. When satan tempted Chava there were now two sides to the story. Picking satan’s side caused all humanity since to experience the commanding and controlling influence of YHWH even to this day.
Satan is also under the Authority of the Creator. As demonstrated in
Genesis 3: 14;Then Hashem said to the Serpent, Because you did this, More cursed shall you be Than all cattle And all the wild beasts; On your belly shall you crawl And dirt shall you eat All the days of your life.
Today much humanity does not want to recognize and abide by YHWH Authority. Humanity has created their own forms of government and norms for the societies we live in. Not even the Nation of Yisrael abides by the path YHWH taught us through Moshe.
How we are to live is in the book we are reading together.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.”
This is how our relationships with Brothers and Sisters as well those not in a covenant relationship with YHWH should be.
But I am not blind to:
Leviticus 20: 13; If a man lies with a make as one lies with a woman the two of them have done and abhorrent thing; they shall be put to death – their bloodguilt is upon them.
Leviticus 20: 23; You shall faithfully observe all My laws and all My regulations, lest the land to which I bring you to settle in spew you out.
Go read II Kings 17 then think about Leviticus 20:23.
Walking in a covenant relationship with YHWH requires humbling yourself to the command and controlling Influence of YHWH and praying Your will not mine YHWH.

Good to be here with you for these “Lessons In Love” that our Abba Father YHVH continues to Reveal through our Everyday Experiences Encountered Together with Him.
While having heard others throughout my Journey speak of authority – a commanding and controlling influence – in regards to our Abba Father YHVH, I have never Experienced Him as such.
Can best Describe Abba’s Heartfelt Love as Seen through Our Everyday Experiences Encountered Together as follows:

So Pure and Sweet
Your Unimaginably Beyond Awesome Abundance
So Perfect and Complete!

Dale, you have so succinctly wrapped up what I was sensing. I’m not too long on words, so what I said probably cut it short. I would have taken many more words than you to express what you said and it is so true, that in His love we can know His provision and His protection in a way that goes beyond just being aware of it.
