I’m so very excited to be a part of this study group! I’ve been watching Michael Rood, Nehemia Gordon and spent the weekend catching up on the series from Smithfield and was incredibly touched! I ordered your book yesterday afternoon, signed up for BFA last night (1st day of the week) and have begun watching the Red Letter Series online. Had ordered a book awhile back on learning Hebrew, dug it out this evening, and was catching on so quick I couldn’t put the book down; a six-week course took me a couple hours and I am reading HEBREW! Taking that knowledge and beginning your course is something I’m truly looking forward to as I keep reading, keep learning and keep growing! Many, many thanks to all of the (heart) hard work you’ve done, you share, and will continue to do. Yehovah is His Name and I’m shouting it from the rooftops! Palms up, let Him take what He wants to take and give what He wants to give! Shalom!

The Lord’s Prayer in a song is so beautiful. Do you by chance have the music without the singing? Would love to purchase it from you. Would love to sing it in Hebrew along with the music.

In 2018, Charles gave me a KJVER with red letters in the mount of Olives, I love the concept, I hate how it messes my eyes when reading.

I have looked up the word Tsedakah – righteousness and chose the following verses.
May Jehovah bless you all.
Psalm 5: 7-8
But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy:
And in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy Temple.
Lead me, O Jehovah, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies;
Make thy way straight before my face.
Proverbs 11: 3-4
The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
But the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
But righteousness delivereth from death.
Isaiah 11: 3-4
and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of Jehovah: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: but with righteousness shall he judge the poor,
Jeremiah 4: 1-2
If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith Jehovah, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove. And thou shalt swear, Jehovah liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in Him shall they glory.
Ezekiel 3: 20-21
Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not,
and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned;
also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Daniel 9: 7
O Jehovah, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
Hosea 10: 12-13
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek Jehovah, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
Amos 5: 23-24
Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
Micah 7: 8-9
Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, Jehovah shall be a light unto me. I will bear the indignation of Jehovah, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.
Zechariah 8:7-9
Thus saith Jehovah Tsebaoth; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
Thus saith Jehovah Tsebaoth; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the House of Jehovah Tsebaoth was laid, that the Temple might be built.

Noah sent out a dove On three days . At the end of the third day the dove Did not return to Noah. Yochanan saw a sign upon the head of Yeshua . It is described as a dove, but then this spirit Took Yeshua away to the wilderness of wanerings for the nation of Israel 40 years! And Yeshua did not eat bread for 40 days while he was on trial defending himself Against the opposing attorney. Later He answers are wicked and perverse generation, whatever that means in Hebrew, With the sign of the dove that Noah sent out three days and after the third day it did not return, or the prophet Jonah, which in Hebrew means dove Who was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish and after the third day was released onto the shore to continue with his mission of calling the gentiles and their livestock to return to Yehovah which they did. So like Noah who went in to meet up with his wife And was dipped in the Ark in a huge deluge And brought the remnant to safety to begin a new state of affairs, so will it be for us Work work towards being upright involved with Yeshua As debtors you have to pay back everything in full before we can be declared as debtors who have to pay back everything in full before we can be declared Tzadiq .
July 4, 2020 at 4:14 am /
This is what Yehovah andYeshua have given me today.
Yeshua The dove was sent into the world to see if the floods had abated, but he returned to his father because they had not. After waiting a while Yehovah Will send his son the dove, Yeshua out again and this time he will return to his father with signs that the floods are drying up! Yehovah Will wait once again and then send out his son into a new heavens and a new earth from which he will not return because all is ready to receive the father.♥️♥️♥️

I’d say that the concept of “performing all righteousness” needs to be looked into more deeply. Cathleen Dell’s take on it below should definitely be considered.
June 29, 2020 at 7:37 pm /
This is my translation of the verse. I hope it will be allowed among the comments, moderator!
“And he responded anxiously to Yochanan , Saying:‘ Did Noah do well with us? Debtors are forced to pay in full All that leads to being judged upright‘. This caused him to be rinsed.
A reference to Noah and the flood is what I am bringing out here. The reference proceedsThe dipping in the border sea of the nation of Israel. On a scale of 1 to 10 the dipping in theAborder sea is 81, while the worldwide flood is a 10! The implication is the importance of this rinsing of Yeshua it’s beyond a comparison with just a ritual recognition of returning to Yehovah and his torah.
The theme of paying in full is initiated here, and it is clear that Yeshua Regarded himself and regarded himself andYochanan As debtors Required to pay back in full the charitable giving, lending, support given to them By Yehovah involved with the holy spirit, to do the tasks laid out before them. Yeshua was some serious contender! He did not play fast and loose with anything he was expected to do, unlike Yochanan Who in that instant Showed a human weakness of respecting persons rather than the Torah!
The interesting thing about Tzadiqah Is it direct relationship to being declared righteous or is its direct relationship to being declared righteous or ratherTzadiq my court process. Any debtor Who pays back the debt in full should be cleared of that debt by any court process. So working towards being upright or being Tzadiq Is to be viewed as working towards paying off the debt!

Tzadiq is such a fundamental notion that it has to be concretely grounded. This is an aside but may give some insight. The word truth is notoriously difficult because it is a noun and not an addictive or adverb. The word true however can be concretely described. It is very simply agreement between a standard and that which is measured It example a straight edge it’s true if it lies along the tort piece of string. Similarly a plumbline is true If it is parallel to a reference plumbline. If one is laying a straight curb then it is true if it lies along the tort line. Paragraph The standard does not always have to be straight but something is only true to it if it matches it in every curve that it takes along its course. We may walk a true path if we do not deviate from it even if the path itself changes all its orientations in every which way. As long as we have not straight from the path that we have walked it truly.
I hope by these examples the concept of true it’s concretely in bedded in your mind. Know the concrete off Tzadiq has to do with the plumbline. Against the plumbline and upright post or tree is established and it is this plumbline and the upright tree Which are the concrete representation of Tzadiq . In order to establish an upright tree or post a whole has to be done in the post planted into it and then the soil concrete packed around it and firmly pressed in all the post or tree is measured against the plumbline at every stage. When this post or plumbline differ then adjustment is made to bring them into line. You may be familiar with the hanging of a door, when you realise that if the door posts are not true that is Not upright then the door cannot swing freely. This is the concrete representation and process of Tzadiq .
Applying this to a man requires festival the man to walk in integrity, which is not the same as being upright, but it is regarding his total honesty and wholeness To himself. Being a man of integrity means that everybody including yourself knows exactly who you are and what you do. Yehovah is then able to take a man of integrity and justify him, that is straighten him out and make him upright if he is not already upright. Such a man will hold to the justification that is imposed on him due to his integrity.
The concept of street which in Hebrew is associated with a direct link without deviation
The concept of street which in Hebrew is associated with a direct link without deviation toYehovah , Is also directly associated with blessing and happiness.requires some effort to rethink blessing and happiness as simply a straight path, But when you do you realise that a straight path can only be followed if you were given good instructions. And so this happiness and blessing is the grateful response that one has when the following good instructions along some tricky path. The good instructions hope you to avoid The pitfalls and the distractions along the way which either delay you or make you miserable, or cause some costly reparations.
So Tzadiq is not only being upright but also walking upright and keeping to a straight path following good instructions, turning either to the right or to the left. This brings happiness and blessings. However not one Of us is perfect, and so I’m glad to say thatYehovah graciously offers and works with us to justify us, to straighten this up and to straighten out a path by giving us good instructions on how to navigate through this life towards the purpose which he has intended for us. But a man of integrity will know that he can never walk this path without the support of Yehovah and it is this leaning upon him and interesting one’s whole being in life to him which Yehovah accounts as being upright! As you can see it is a matter of grace to recounts those that lean upon him and a guided in every step by him as a bright because this is the meaning off emunah which means to lean upon for support to achieve the standard or qualification aimed for. And it is these motherly instructions and firm guidance that we are carrying out with support which are the true teachings, the truth by which we live if we we perform them, and this is why we must hurry I was on the way to satisfy all and anyone who hates us so that we may continue in the company of Yehovah involved with Yeshua Who is our main supporter on this path. Yehovah Wants to see and to walk among the whole forest of upright trees, each one bearing fruit which is available for all others to eat. This is wants to see and to walk among whole forest of upright trees, each one bearing fruit which is available for all others to eat. This is whyTzadiqah is undeniably and indissolubly linked with sharing the good things of Yehovah to all them he wishes to provide for ♥️♥️

“Consider the context of the Hebrew word tsedaqah in scripture” KJ
In Greek righteousness is (G1343) equity of character or act
In Hebrew righteousness comes from (H6663) tsadaq – basically to be made right
References Studied:
(Gen 38:26 NASB+), (Gen 44:16 NASB+), (Exo 23:7 NASB+), (Psa 19:9 NASB+), (Psa 51:4 NASB+), (Psa 143:2 NASB+), (Pro 17:15 NASB+), (Isa 45:25 NASB+), (Isa 53:11 NASB+), and (Dan 12:3 NASB+)
Deepest appreciation to you Keith for being a part of guiding many toward “righteousness.”
Daniel 12:3 ”Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”
This study encouraged me to “keep reading.”
As a former teacher, I understand the importance of context regarding comprehension. Therefore, it is my common practice to read the entire chapter(s) when a reference is given. In doing so with this study, I have concluded that “all righteousness” is “all Torah.”
In Isaiah 51:1 “Listen to Me, you who pursue righteousness, seeking Yehovah” and then in verse :4 “Listen to Me, My people, and give ear to me, O My nation, for the Torah goes forth from Me, and My right-ruling I set as a light to peoples.” :5 My righteousness is near.” And then again in :7 Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, a people whose heart is My Torah and in :8 My righteousness is forever”
It was the reference Isa 53:11 that nudged me to “keep reading.”
“He would see the result of the suffering of His life and be satisfied. Through His knowledge My righteous Servant makes many righteous, and He bears their crookednesses”
Oh, our Father is MIGHTY!
In Isaiah 50:4, the Master has given Him the tongue of taught ones, that he should know to help the weary with a word. He tells the people that the Father wakes His ears to hear as taught ones.
Who is being referred to? I submit that it is Yeshua and it is He that is given the tongue of the taught ones. The taught ones – what is their knowledge base? TORAH!!!! And what is Torah? The biblical answer to that question is found in Gen 26:5 “My commands, My laws, and My Torot.”
Ok, so now that we know what “all righteousness” is (Torah) and what Torah is (His commands and laws) what is next?
Is knowing these definitions enough?
Absolutely and emphatically – NO
Keeping in mind once a person “learns” something it cannot be unlearned, and the person becomes responsible for the knowledge.
Matthew 3:15 Permit it, because we are obliged to perform the task of all righteousness
It is our duty, as children of Yah, to perform the task of all righteousness. The ONLY way for His children to perform the task of all righteousness is to learn what these tasks are.
One cannot learn/know the fullness of these expectations of our Father without an
intimate relationship with Him.
“No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship” Comer

Homework Scriptures: Deuteronomy 10:13 To keep the commandments of the LORD and his statutes which I commanded thee this day for thy good. 2nd Sam 22:21The LORD rewarded me according my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. 1kings 3:6 …Thou has shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee… 1kings 8:32 Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness. Psalms 11:7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright. Psalms 106:30-31 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgement and so the plague was stayed. And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore. Proverbs 10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. Proverbs 11:5 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: Proverbs 11:18 The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. Jeremiah 22:15 Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgement and justice, and then it was well with him.
Really enjoyed searching for these answers, finally got some free time to participate.
Blessings everyone!

This was fun and great practice for part 2! I just paraphrased the verses using the two translations I’m comparing.
Gen 15:6 – Abraham believed (NASB)/put his trust (JPS) in Yehovah, Yehovah reckoned it to him as righteousness (NASB)/merit (JPS)
Gen 18:19 – Abraham will command (NASB)/instruct (JPS) his children and household to keep the way of Yehovah by doing righteousness and justice (NASB)/doing what is right and just (JPS) so that Yehovah will His promise to Abraham
Deu 6:25 – It will be righteousness for us (NASB)/to our merit (JPS) before Yehovah if we faithfully observe and do His Torah and His commands
Deu 9:4-6 – (4)Do no say Yehovah has brought me into the land because of my righteousness (NASB)/virtue (JPS)… (5)it is not for your righteousness (NASB)/virtue (JPS) that you are going to possess the land… (6)it is not because of your righteousness (NASB)/virtue (JPS)… for you are a stubborn (NASB)/stiffnecked (JPS) people [it is not because of personal righteousness/virtue that Yehovah is giving the land, but because the people who were there were wicked, and in order to fulfill His promise the forefathers)
Isa 10:22 – NASB …A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness / JPS…Destruction is decreed; Retribution comes like a flood!
Eze 14:14 – Noah, Daniel, and Jacob could deliver only themselves with their righteousness (NASB & JPS)
Eze 18:21-22 – (21)…if the wicked man turns from his wickedness and practices justice and righteousness (NASB)/does what is just and right (JPS) he will live and not die (22)…because of the righteousness (NASB & JPS) which he practiced, he will live

Thank you Father Yehovah for him; Keith is one of your warriors! Amen.
Thank you and shalom my friend!

I found Salvation and verse Isa. 46:13 with the help of the BDB…”I bring near my deliverance, it is not far off, and my salvation in Zion, for Israel, my glory. ” And in Isa. 45;8, “Shower, O heavens, from above, and let the skies rain down righteousness; let the earth open, that salvation may spring up, and let it cause righteousness to sprout up also; I the LORD have created it.” I realize my strange mind may be reading in something not pertaining to this as you may have planned, but, it states Yehovah is the creator of righteousness, that brings salvation and isn’t that stating “Yehoshua?’ I also enjoyed Isa. 46:7 stating those who know righteousness =those who have my teachings (Torah) in their hearts. If any readers don’t see where I am going, please forgive my wandering in the wilderness.

This has always been ONE of my favorite verses Keith 😉
Yehôvâh יהוה is my strength and has become my Yeshû‛âh ישׁוּעה deliverance / Salvation.
From:
“See, Ěl is my deliverance, I trust and am not afraid. For Yah, יהוה, is my strength and my song; and He has become my deliverance.”
הנה אל ישׁועתי אבטח ולא אפחד כי־עזי וזמרת יה יהוה ויהי־לי לישׁועה

Blessings in all you do my friend … keep em’ coming! 😀

Great study guide, thanks! Wow, there is a lot in those 7 words, high points I sense so far, permit-a turning; fulfill-every jot and tittle, …

My ten (of the 33 total uses of צְדָקָה ) are: Psa 106:3-4; 33:5, Gen 38:26; 15:16; 18:19, Isa 10:22; 61:10, Pro 21:21, Jer 33:15, and Mal 3:20.
I like Psa 106:4 added for the last word of the sentence in Hebrew: בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ (bee-shoo-a-te-ka), which literally means: in your salvation and figuratively in your yeshua = in your YHVH’s salvation.
Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Red Alert: Just shown is a man appealing for prayer at a ‘forbidden’ place in the language the way Yeshua taught. Thumbs up for CeeBee 2.0 in keeping Keith on topic. As for Professor Johnson’s intro, Martin Luther, the pope, and Hitler would be disappointed — but not me.
Impressive!

(Comment above pertains to the Introduction)
Episode 1 and tsĕdaqah found 10 times:
Starting with in the Torah, I notice that Moses uses tsĕdaqah a few times in Genesis, but of particular interest is his use of it in Deuteronomy chpt. 9, clearly indicating that our achieved (or assumed) tsĕdaqah is not why Yehovah performs in our favor. Rather, as found in the Tanakh, the prophet Samuel proclaims Yehovah’s righteousness in 1 Sam. chpt. 12 and not that of the Children of Israel. King David in the Psalms readily declares the LORD’s righteousness over his own. Later down the timeline, the prophet Isaiah (57:12,13) reveals the futility of trusting in our own (achieved or assumed) tsĕdaqah. Even Jeremiah demolishes the perception of adequate tsĕdaqah in 64:6.
I conclude that Matthew 3:15 is a true account of Yeshua, who (in another place) told us in certain words to properly consider the tsĕdaqah-topic (5:20). Therefore, I’m going for the tsĕdaqah of YeHoVaH that Yeshua declared and demonstrated — which = exceed.

Oh, this is SO good! I think it’s AWESOME that you are making us work a little and not just “spoon feeding” like so many do. We become much closer to our Creator when we spend time digging it out for ourselves. Thank you!!
I can’t tell you how EXCITED I am!!
