The Darkness of Doubt!

I have to admit that after only a few days in Bogatá, I began to doubt my capacity to answer the call that led me there. That was until I found myself deep below ground, inside one of the largest salt mines in the world. It felt like I was in the early verses of Genesis, and it absolutely blew my mind!

2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1:2-3

As I was crouching in a pitch-black mining shaft, I lost hold of the guide rope and of the shoulder of the person in front of me. For what felt like an eternity, I was stuck in place, overwhelmed by doubt and darkness. Once I got a grip on my fear, I was able to find the guide rope and continued slowly moving forward in the dark. This is when I pushed past the darkness of doubt.

When I finally emerged into the light, the doubt was gone and I determined that the time had come to make an announcement that would seal the deal on what’s next. The short video below will bring you deep into the salt mine with me!
