Prophet Pearls #2 – Noach
Isaiah 54:1-55:5

This is the second Prophet section of what is traditionally called the Haftorah reading that accompanies the Torah portion of Noach (Genesis 6:1–6:8). This week’s reading is Isaiah 54:1-55:5 .
In this passage God draws on the imagery of the waters of Noah to assure His people that His love and compassion will never be removed from them. And to those who heed His admonition and turn to Him He promises to make an everlasting covenant. Listen to Keith Johnson and Nehemia Gordon as they discover priceless gems in this installment of Prophet Pearls: Exploring Biblical Prophecy for Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.
From this episode through portion #21 (Ki-Tisa), Nehemia provides an opportunity for you to listen to the portion in Hebrew!
If you would like to listen to Keith and Nehemia discuss the Torah portions that correlate to the Prophet portions here is the original Torah Pearls programs recorded in 2011-2012.

Thank You both so much for sharing this with us. You guys really understand Now to bring us the JOY of Yehovah! I love the Bible but have never really been able to feel the JOY of it! But this is something You guys really have been able to do and it is a joy and a blessing listening to you!!
I was espeacially touched when Keith menchend that even all the “not nice stuff” , the Father has “brought” upon us. (Or is in His hands). I have always believed this but for the church this is “not done”!!
I have been abused by many men and mistreated a lot but even though I don’t always understand why, I know that YeHoVaH has a reason for it all and Is.55: 5 just made me cry and send up a prayer because, THIS Is true!! His loving arms are open to run into. To be safe He gives protection.
In all this I can see that He has always been nudging mee to run to Him, listen to Him, follow Him and not the ways of man.
And until now, that I can study on my own because of you tube, I have found the truth and I am eger and very hunger for it. I don’t understand why everything is as it is but one thing is very certain. YeHoVaH is with me and guiding my every step. And that is so awesome. I feel so priveladged that He has shown me His name, even though it was through you guys, all alone on my kitchen table. I was touched and moved by that alone!! That is so breath taking. My prayers go out to both!!! Please, please keep up the good work.
May YeHoVaH bless you and keep you safe and healthy and full of this joyful energy!!

Hey Guys,
Let me first say how much I appreciate when you teach in this way. Your learned and insightful deliberations are invaluable.
I think the addition of the passage in Hebrew is helpful to those who understand Hebrew. I also think that a “proper/more accurate” translation of the Hebrew would be helpful. So, in the same way Nehemiah reads the passage in Hebrew, could you translate to read the entire passage in English?
Thanks again,
Daryl-
