At 59:10 Nehemia opines on Mt 2:3 about the theory that the Jews were to reject Jesus and the gentiles were to accept Him.
You mean like…
Psa 118:22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone.
Isa 28:14-18 (YEHOVAH said they made a covenant with death; believed lies that said the scourge wouldn’t touch them. Then declairs He lays a Foundation Stone in Zion and THEN the waters will overflow the secret place.) Hmmm. Some 40 years after Jesus the nations invaded the Temple.
Luke 19:14,27 But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’
27 But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence.”
But take heart…
Romans 11:25b – 29 that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; 26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written,
“The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.”
27 “This is My covenant with them: When I take away their sins.”
28 From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; 29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

But I agreed with Keith in that this verse was speaking of Harod’s officials and subjects being troubled… because of what their wacko king Harod might do next.

I sincerely appreciate all the info you are providing. I hope & pray you have the time and resources to continue these pearls. It is good that neither of you push any denomination or religious belief, just reveal facts. ,
Early in the program Nehemia mentioned 7 things that existed before the sun, one being Messiah’s Name.
Might I suggest yet another reason from the Big Book why they cold have arrived at this conclusion? In Jn 8:12 & 9:5, Yeshua says He is the Light of the world. Jn 1:4-9 points several times to Him being “THE Light.”
Now let’s look at Genesis 1, the Creation. Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Is this referring to Yeshua?)
Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. (night – the devil?) And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Darkness, or chaos, was on the face of the deep. Then God said, in 1:3, “Let there be Light.” Now this Light was NOT from the sun or moon because these great lights in the firmament of the heavens weren’t created til the 4th day. Thus, if this Light is referring to Yeshua, yes, He existed BEFORE the sun and moon, and like everyone else, was likely named at birth, creation, or however He came into existence.
Could this partially be “why” it is said that His Name existed (“Day”) before the sun?

Keith and Nehemiah,
Yesterday I watched the 3rd installment of the Hebrew Matthew Pearls, and feel compelled to fill in some missing details about chapter 2 verse 1 and following. I am not a scholar, so I will refer you to the researchers later in this message.
THE OUSTER OF HEROD IN 40 BC WAS NOT A SMALL JEWISH UPRISING! It was an invasion by the Parthian Empire, the other world superpower to Rome at the time! Parthia installed Aristobulus, a son of David, as king of Judea, who was overthrown and sent to Rome, where Herod eventually had him executed to remove the threat of him again claiming the throne.
This Parthian invasion happened just after Julius Caesar was murdered with the “Et Tu Brutus” drama by his closest associates. The Roman senate chose General Marc Anthony, who enlisted the help of Queen Cleopatra to remove the Parthians back across the Euphrates river, which was the boundary depicting the separate empires of Rome and Parthia.
The Parthians had installed a son of David as king, because each of the kings of Parthia, as well as their King of Kings, was a son of David! The so-called magi from Parthia were the ones who tracked, verified, and installed each king of the Parthians.
So, because Herod and all Jerusalem could fathom that the Parthian emissaries, with their armed escort, could invade, ignite another war, and install another son of David as king, they would have reason to be worried.
Parthia existed as a powerful empire from about 200 BC to about 220 AD, when after beating Rome all the way back to the very gates of Rome itself, the Sassanian Persians rebelled against Parthia because of the very great loss of manpower from the war. It was at this time that the Parthians, Saka, and Scythians, as well as other brother people groups ran for their lives, escaping out of the middle east through the Caucasus mountains, being forever know as Caucasians. They were also known as Germans from the Roman mispronounced name of Kherman, which is still a region and city in Iran (Persia).
The Romans declared these Parthian exiles the “Barbarians” that we grew up reading about, you know, the Vandals, Anglos, Saxons, Jutes, Goths and other tribes, all of which are from the exiled northern ten tribes of Israel!
I realize that this may seem far-fetched, but both of you have learned that truth is stranger than fiction in many instances. While the world is very aware of the “Visible Seed” of Abraham, known as “Judah”, the “Hidden Seed” of Joseph or Ephraim has been totally ignored, and considered “lost”!
Two men, one a Worldwide Church of God Christian, who grew up following Herbert Armstrong, keeping the Sabbath and the Feasts, has written a series of books on the historical migrations of the lost ten tribes. His name is Steven M. Collins, and he has lots of info in his first book, now only available electronically, 4 sequential books, as well as on his website https://stevenmcollins.com/.
The other man, Yair Davidy, an Orthodox Jew who promotes both written and oral Torah, also researched the tribes through the clan names of the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and has written many books. He also has a website, https://britam.org/, where he has his books listed and articles written.
Both men have reached the conclusion that the sons of Jacob prophesied to be visible in the last days (Genesis chapter 49) have been located in what we would call the western world. Both have reached their conclusions by independent means, and both agree that the “Birthright” sons of Joseph are the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Again, I am not a scholar, but I have read all 5 books by Collins, and half a dozen books by Davidy. As I remember, Collins has enormous documentation in his books, but I do not remember about Davidy.
I realize that you two are in the middle of a very interesting and tedious study of the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew, and I am not trying to be a distraction. However, you might want to check out the websites.

I believe NOW IS THE TIME and Yehovah is actually the one putting you two together, paving the way, pouring into you both the words, the ideas and concepts to reveal HIS mysteries, HIS HEART to lead us into this next age!
