A Deep-Dive Bible Study Into The Book of Jonah-Episode 3
“How Far Will You Go?”

In the third episode of our deep-dive study into the book of Jonah, “How Far Will You Go?”, Keith begins by asking if there is a way to avoid the things of God—a way to “exit the arena” where God is working. This verse tells us that Jonah arose, as God had told him.
But he deliberately fled in the opposite direction from where God wanted him to go! Keith identifies five specific actions that Jonah took in his attempt to get away from the presence of God.

I did a Jonah once, then seven years later I ended up exactly where יהוה was sending me. May El Elyon be greatly Glorified no matter what I endure, while being faithful to him until my very last breath.

Thanks for the context bringing finally I know that Jonah quit Jehova’s job not to have stayed at home but to have bought a ship ticket, ready to go for a long tour for treasure place Tarshish(gold silver peacock). This scene let me thought of some exployee who is mad at his boss and quit. After that this employee always spent a big money to have an expensive tour abroad. Then the tour agen must like Jehova so much🤑

The blessings He sends when one does what He asks, even when those around you think you’ve gone off down the wrong path, are astounding and everlasting. The trust you gain for Him is that thing that others don’t understand.
Jonah for me was an early teacher along with Abraham.
So appreciate your curious wonderful mind and your slowing downs🤗 Blessings on you!
