  • Another interpretation, if we call ourselves followers of Yeshua and worship YeHoVaH hence to carry His Name as a banner, but do NOT live our lives as HE commanded (observe Torah, Shabbat, Feasts, Love our neighbor); then we are using His Name in vain, showing it to be nothing! We must walk the walk, not just talk the talk. Shalom

  • Discovered this series thanks to Nehemia’s and Keith’s Prophet pearls on Nehemia’s Wall. Not only is this an interesting approach to scripture using the original Hebrew words and dissecting them using grammar, but Keith is doing this in a way that is entertaining, attention grabbing, and straight-up fun. Even from someone coming from a traditional Jewish background, I find these teachings full of new information. I will definitely keep bfainternational in my top go-to resources for scripture study and I look forward to watching the other series on this website. Keep it up Keith! Keep reading 🙂

  • I have love more the Hebrew now with how you do it here… HalleluYah!

  • Excellent teaching. Loving your style of breaking down verses, words etc making topic simple and understandable, interesting and most enjoyable. Thank you.

  • Do you have any comments on the alef-tav that appears 3x in this verse? It appears twice attached to the word name/shem with a maqquev (hyphen) in the Schottenstein Interlinear version and once as a stand alone word. I have felt that the alef-tav refers to the Messiah (He is the alef-tav, not the alpha and omega). If so, to me this is also saying that not only shall we not take YHVH’s Name in vain, but neither should we take the Messiah’s name (YHVShAy) in vain. (Which is probably why satan had the name of the Messiah changed. Otherwise he would be bringing curses down on his agents.)

  • I was excited for this one to come out because I had just read this in your book. Love, Love, Love the bytes a fast tidbit to study up on through the week.

  • This has been very informative. I can’t wait for part 4. Well done achi!
